Working principle of filter press

Filter press is composed of frame, filter plate, pressing system (manual, mechanical, hydraulic three forms) and electrical control cabinet.

2. The frame part plays the role of supporting the pressing device and the filter plate, which is composed of the frame base, the pressing plate, the thrust plate and the main beam.

3. The filter plate is installed on the main beam between the pressing plate and the thrust plate, which is sandwiched with the press cloth.

4. When working, the pressing device (cylinder piston rod or screw) promotes the pressing plate, and the filter plate and filter cloth between the pressing plate and the thrust plate are pressed, and the filter chamber is formed between the pressing plate and the filter plate. The material pressed by the material pump enters the filter chamber from the thrust plate feed hole, and the solid particles are intercepted in the filter chamber, and the filter cake is formed. The liquid is discharged from the body through the outlet hole through the filter cake and cloth. If it is necessary to wash the filter cake, the washing water can be used to wash the filter cake through the washing liquid port on the tail plate. If the cake needs to be blown dry, the filter cake can be blown dry by passing compressed air through the liquid outlet.

The plate and frame space is the filter chamber. The liquid flow form of the filter press is divided into open flow and dark flow.
